The 23rd Annual CamTESOL Conference on English Language Teaching will be held from 22-23-24 January 2027, themed ‘Innovative Approaches to ELT: Inspiring Change and Reflective Teaching’ in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The calls for abstracts submission will be opened from 25 September 2026.
2026 marked the 22nd edition of CamTESOL, which welcomed over 1,400 delegates from more than 30 countries and featured over 500 presentation and poster sessions. This year’s conference offered a larger scale and broader scope, with special highlights including plenary panel discussions on emerging best practices in teaching and learning, AI in education, future-ready skills, well-being topics, and industry trends. These discussions were led by renowned local and international experts, world-class researchers and innovators, educational influencers, policymakers, and QA bodies, who shared valuable insights on shaping the future of ELT.

In the 2027 conference edition, CamTESOL will feature Presenter Contribution Milestone Awards to acknowledge their outstanding contribution and support to the conference and to the ELT sector in the region. Presenters who have presented at the conference for 3 times, 5 times, 10 times, 15 times and 20 times since 2005 will receive award recognitions at the 2026 CamTESOL conference.
